It’s a question that several patients ask us at the clinic: “Do the injected products stay in the body forever?”
We discussed this with Dr. Stéphanie Morin, who clearly explains her position on the matter.

“There are certain products that we call permanent, which remain in or under the skin after injection. Personally, they are products I do not like to use.”

Why? Because permanent products offer little flexibility. The face naturally changes over the years—loss of volume, changes in structure or texture—and it is important to be able to adapt treatments over time.

Dr. Morin prefers a temporary, but smart approach:

“I prefer using temporary products that do not stay in the body indefinitely. The advantage is that if there is ever a complication, or simply a result we are not happy with, we can adjust it.”

This approach not only allows treatments to be adapted to the face’s evolution, but also reduces the risk of side effects.
